Yogi Sumit Ji (Iyengar- Hatha Teacher and Course Director)

Yogi Sumit ji began his yoga practice at his birthplace, Rishikesh, at age 14. He has studied classical Hatha yoga at Uttrakhand Sanskrit University, Haridwar, Ashtanga Yoga in Mysore and Acro Yoga in Goa. He later added therapeutic yoga to his studies which gives him extensive knowledge of the human body and the proper alignment of yoga asanas. Sumit believes in experiencing yoga first as a student before teaching it to others. He still enjoys broadening his own yogic horizon and is passionate about creating a healthier place for mind, body, and soul by sharing the practice of yoga. Today, Sumit ji is a multi-style teacher with certifications in Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin, and Iyengar styles of yoga. He has taught yoga in many countries such as Mexico, USA, Canada, UAE, Thailand, and China. He is an E-RYT 200, RTY 500 Yoga Alliance certified teacher and is currently leading the 200, 300, & 500 hour programs at Maa Shakti Yog in Rishikesh.divider


Jagjeet Singh (Philosophy & Pranayama & Meditation)

Jaggi was born in Haridwar and later moved to Rishikesh. From the very early childhood, Jaggi started practicing Yoga as he belongs to a family of avid Yoga practitioners. He was brought up reading Bhagwat Gita and many other ancient Indian texts which always made him wonder about life. During childhood, he learned Yoga from his Grandfather who was one of the renowned Yogi of his age. Jaggi has completed his formal education in (MSC) in Yoga and science from Gurukul Kangri University. After his college education, he traveled in the Himalayas in search of the masters for many years. During his traveling days, he met learned from many masters and gained very extensive knowledge of Yoga. Jaggi is mastered in Hatha Yoga and has been practicing yoga therapy, marma therapy, alternative therapy, yoga asana, pranayama, and mudra bandha.divider


Yogi Vishu (Meditation & Shatkarma)

Vishwajeet Singh was born Haridwar and later moved to Rishikesh during his teenage. He belongs to Gayatri Parivar (a community formed by saints and spiritual guides) that involved him in many spiritual practices from his early childhood. He has attended several workshop and seminars in Yoga. He is also a visiting faculty to many schools and institutions from all over India. He has extensively studied Patanjali Yoga Sutras, explored the teaching of Hindu and Buddhist traditions, he also studied the work of modern teachers and philosophers like Ramana Maharshi, J. Krishnamurti, and Osho.
