Discover the life-changing experience of sound as it relates to mantra chanting. In this module, we provide sacred mantras in Sanskrit while we discuss the meaning and vibration of the mantras. You will learn the proper way to pronounce and chant to appreciate the energetic and spiritual properties of each mantra. This course encourages students to use chanting as a means to cultivate a sense of peace within and connect with the universe.
Learn about the basic comprehension of human anatomy and physiology related to yoga practice. during your 100-hour YTTC in Bali This module introduces the basic skeletal and muscular systems, discussing the effects of asanas on the human body. You will learn how to identify common anatomical variations and the basic principles of human movement and safe movement patterns.

This module will provide you with a basic understanding of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, a yogic philosophical text, as well as the eight limbs of yoga. You will learn the values and ethical principles that inform yogic practice and gain insight into the deeper meaning and purpose of yoga. This course helps and supports students to reflect and develop individually.
In these classes, you will understand the subtle energetic practices of mudras and bandhas. This module introduces hand gestures (mudras) and energetic locks (bandhas), what they do for the body and mind, and the techniques for practicing mudras and bandhas and their use in creating the flow of energy and balance in one's interior being.
This part of the training introduces the yogic cleansing techniques. Shatkarmas (yogic cleansing techniques) are used to rid the body and mind of impurities. Students will be given the basic theory of and practice of Jala neti and other basic cleansing practices. The importance of practicing these techniques under proper supervision will also be stressed.
This module introduces the fundamentals of how to teach a basic yoga class. You will learn about teaching a class that is safe and inclusive, how to sequence a class, and how to provide basic directions and cues. Basic class management and ethical consideration of yoga teachers for their classes will also be included. This helps us run our programs smoothly and keep the quality of our teaching (which we are proud of) to a high standard! Please understand that things can happen that you can’t control.
If a decision is made by Maa Shakti Yog to change the schedule of a course, students are permitted to transfer their fees to pay for a future course. This request must be communicated no less than 5 days prior to the course start date. If a student chooses to withdraw from the 100 Hour Yoga TTC for any reason, fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
We understand life can change unexpectedly. Therefore, we have given consideration for a unique provision related to your ability to cancel your booking with us. Rather than canceling and forfeiting your entire deposit, a student can instead reschedule to attend a future 100-hour yoga teacher training within 2 years of the original course date. This allows you to continue your yogic journey at the appropriate time without a new deposit.
